Introducing Hip Hop Artist L.I.R.I.X

Toronto-January 27th, 2009- The music industry is saturated and filled with hip hop artists, but there are only a few that can rip a microphone with a steady consistency of rhythmical flow of lyrics from beginning to the end of a song. Canadian artist Matthew Taylor, better known for his stage name “L.I.R.I.X” is part of that minority of natural born lyricists. So much so, that his performance name “L.I.R.I.X” is an acronym for Living Individual Ripping Intelligence to the X Position; whereby “x” is the symbol of the unknown. L.I.R.I.X has always been very diligent and hardworking since a child. Growing up with his family, he was introduced to hip hop music through his older brother, and developed his love for the musical genre during the early 1990’s when Hip hop songs had more of a message to people, and less commercialization. L.I.R.I.X has carried those messages along with him, since first writing a song at age 12 with messages then and present about the life that surrounds him and his own experiences. L.I.R.I.X coined a phrase to explain his steadfast mentality as “A.C.E.S”, which is an acronym for “Anything Can Equal Success”. L.I.R.I.X plans on obtaining even more successes with his upcoming album set to release this summer. Currently his latest single is available for a free download titled “Second Renaissance”.
