Daily News
What's going on?
This blog is a little bit different, not really an update on the next project. This is about "Daily News" a record I think everyone should take a minute and listen to.
Everyday there is something going on in the world, its usually some bad news. That's all we seem to hear in the news. One day I remember hearing about 6 deaths within the span of hours in Toronto. It made me think about all the other crimes that had yet to be reported. I thought about out of all the crimes the percentage that would actually be solved. I guess you would say that's what inspired me to write "Daily News" off of the Dub City project.
On another note, Dub City Chronicles just passed 11,000 downloads since being released on Feb 28th, 2009. I would like to thank everyone for their support, not only by taking in the project but also by spreading the word.

Another Day, Same Grind
What's up?
I told you I'd be back with an update on Tuesday.
Not only do I have an update on the progress with S.O.S. I also have a special treat for you. My first radio interview with Hype Magazine. You can find the link at the bottom of this post.
Now with regards to S.O.S. My recording session on Sunday was great. We got a lot of new music done. This project is really coming together. So far we have recorded around 13-14 songs for the project. I am still writing new material for the project and will be back in the studio on the weekend.
We are right on pace to finish the recording process by the end of April. After that we will spend the next 3 weeks editing, mixing, and mastering the record. I will have a track listing sometime next month as well as new music (buzz material) out each week leading up to the release of S.O.S. Right now, the art work and all the promotional pieces are being laid out. We are really trying to give everyone a great body of work with this project.
Now as a special bonus there is a new producer by the name of Young K out of Canada
who has just released a download project online. It's titled Young K Presents Jay Z - Canadian Gangster EP. It's a very cohesive project inspired by some Jay Z songs from previous albums. Definitely something worth checking out.

La Di Da Di Quick Update
What's going on everyone?
I know it's been a few days since I've updated this blog. I've been busy, getting some new music ready for my S.O.S. project. I will be done writing and recording the project at the end of April. I'm actually just touching base with everyone before I heard to the studio. Duty calls so unfortunately, I'm going to have to cut this update short.
Don't worry, I'll have another update on Monday or Tuesday with some more details on interviews, downloads, travel plans, email blasts, as well as new info on the Grind-A-Holix team.
With that said I thought I would bring y'all some more new music.

Updates
Good morning all !!!
I know I'm a little late (12 hours or so) but I've had a lot on my plate trying to get everything in place for the next wave of things to come. Today is a very special day for me because its my first radio interview. I will be speaking with Hype Magazine at 11:00 AM this morning. I will have a full update on that later on this evening. So you will get a double dose of LIRIX ON DEMAND today. Aside from that, I just been working very closely with my team (Tiffany, Trini, JD, Vena, Fahim, Preston, Mike, Chris & Brian, Krazy Jay, Pro Logic, and Brall) getting a lot of things together regarding my next few projects. I've been doing a lot of writing lately (mainly for S.O.S. and A.C.E.S) but also putting together a few side projects. Be on the look out for all of that, in the near future.
I will be releasing some new music off S.O.S. next month leading up to the initial release of the upcoming project. As of right now, S.O.S. will be ready at the end of May right now. We are really trying to raise the bar with this re but there will be more on that at the end of the week.
Don't worry there's a lot more news on the way.
I've also got some features in the works right now. Stay (in)tuned to the music.

April Showers
Good morning what's up y'all?
It's early isn't it? I'm up for a reason though I am currently working on wrapping up S.O.S. in the next 2-3 weeks. I'm up right now doing some editing and listening to the latest set of beats to make sure I've got everything I need for what I want this project to be.
Right now, I am aiming to release the project at the end of May so that we can get everything right. This month, we are going to be giving you a lot more music. I will be giving you new music on Saturday and I have a few other things in the works at the moment that will come to fruition by the end of the month.
You know what it is...
With that said I would like to send a thank you to everyone on the team (Preston, (Trini, JD and everyone over at Reewine), Pro Logic, Paul, Tiffany, Cassandra, Brall, Brian & Chris. Lastly all the DJ's who have been playing my music all over the world (Thank You For Your Support). Everyone has been a great help in keeping me inspired, and helping to push the music to the limit. I really appreciate everyone's hard work as we work to build the foundation of our future.
